Special Step 1:  ORB app is providing you Profit-loss from your answers to simple questions. You are expected to provide quantity of Green feed, dry feed, cattle feed, suppliment etc by actually weighing the same.  If you don’t have weight details of the feeds, kindly carry out following procedure.

Find out weight of the utensil – with and without feed in it, for the utensil you are using to provide feed to the animals. This procedure is to be followed only once. You’ll know the weight of the feed fitting in the utensil.

If you calculate how many times you are providing the feeds full of utensils to your animals, you’ll know the total weight of the feed.  This you can write as an answer to Green feed (in KG). You may follow similar procedure to answer dry feed, cattle feed and supplement questions.

Special Step 1: The calculations in the app are based on quanitty in KG and rate in Rs per KG.  Some of the farmers may have few animals, due to which the quantities for supplments and cattle feed may fall below 1 KG.  e.g. 100 grams. In such case, you may convert the grams quantity to kilogram and use it to write answers. For example, 100 grams becomes 0.1 KG and 500 grams will be 0.5 KG and so on.

To get accurate Profit-loss amount the above procedure needs to be followed.
